PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ OUR TERMS OF USE.

The Soap Salon reserves the right to change or modify these terms of use at any time.

DELIVERY

We offer shipping, pickup and local delivery.

SHIPPING

All prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include taxes. Applicable taxes will be added to your cart at the time of purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

All orders will be prepared and mailed from Belleville Ontario (K8P 3Y8).

We work as fast as possible and are usually able to prepare your order within 72 hours (working days). In some cases out of our control (storms, covid-19 or high traffic periods), it could take up to 7 days to prepare your order. From January to April, shipments will be made on Fridays only.

ADDRESS: Make sure you enter your full address in your account and on Paypal, otherwise we will not be responsible for any non-delivery of your order. Any charges related to an error on your part will be deducted from the refund of an order that is returned to us by Canada Post.

Orders within CANADA will be delivered via Canada Post.

Xpresspost shipments within Canada will be delivered within 3 days of preparation, with $100 liability coverage and a tracking number available upon request. Contact us if you need your tracking number within 24 hours.

Standard Packages to Canada do not include insurance and take 2-9 business days to deliver. There is no insurance for this type of shipment, but a tracking number will be provided. Contact us if you would like your tracking number.

DELIVERY TIMES 

Update: Due to Covid-19 you may expect delays in your order. Review our note on Covid-19 information.

Our delivery times are estimated only and are not guaranteed. They will
always be estimated in business days (this does not include
weekends/holidays). Once the packages are sent to our shipping provider,
arrival times are out of our control and in the hands of the shipping service
that has been selected.

The Soap Salon are not held responsible for:

  • Mistakes made by Canada Post
  • Wrong addresses given by customers
  • Damage to orders by postal service
  • PO box issues
  • Stolen packages after delivery (we do not recommend the Canada Post “safe drop” option)

PICKUP

You can arrange to pickup your order. Depending on the season, pick up locations will vary. Select “Pickup” at checkout and someone from The Soap Salon will contact you when your order is ready to arrange for pickup.

DELIVERY

Customers within 30 km of Belleville ON can request your order be delivered for a $4 fee. Deliveries are made once per week. As delivery dates vary based on the season and our location, you will receive a notification email once your order is ready with details of when your order will be delivered.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Any cancellations by you prior to shipping will be subject to a transaction fee that Square, Google Pay, Apple Pay or PayPal retains on refunded transactions of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Before completing your order, please ensure that it is error-free.

If you wish to cancel your order and it is already in the process of being delivered, we will not be able to offer you a refund. Due to the hygienic nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If we feel we have made a mistake, we will contact you for more details on returns, exchanges & refunds and provide you with the appropriate form. As we want our customers to be satisfied at all times, we ask that you contact us if there is a problem with your order, within 5 days of receiving it. Please mention your order number and a brief description of the problem (error or missing item in your order). 

ALLERGIES

With increasing allergens in our world and infinite combinations of them, we cannot guarantee that our soaps and other products will be suitable for your skin type. We can provide samples for a fee to test. There are fees associated with samples that are shipped and cannot be refunded. Please contact us on Facebook or by using our Contact Form to request a sample. Samples are limited to 1 (one) per request.

We recommend that you do an allergy test on the inside of your forearm and/or hands for the first 24-48 hours. If a skin reaction occurs, it is best to keep it localized. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. If irritation, redness or itching occurs, discontinue use immediately.

All our products may have been in contact with allergens. Please contact us before buying or using our products if you suffer from severe allergies.
